Prepare Our Youth, Inc., (POY) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization specializing in educational and counseling services. Our objective is to provide help and hope to urban/suburban children, youth and families in need of quality services.

POY has maintained its commitment to serving communities since our inception in 1981.

Some of our services include:

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ADVOCACY

EDUCATIONAL/TUTORIAL PROGRAM

HEALTH EDUCATION - includes substance abuse, HIV prevention education, stress and violence prevention and reduction, conflict resolution, etc.

OUTREACH SERVICES - conducts workshops and seminars for schools, churches, corporations, social and grassroots organizations, training and a variety of practical seminars addressing diverse relational, economic, educational, cultural and social challenges of African American children, youth, families and communities.

ANNUAL FOOD/NEEDS DISTRIBUTION - for needy children and families.

HOTEP PRODUCTIONS - Prepare Our Youth's publishing component provides written materials, audio/video (CD/DVD), that provide help, hope, and solution-oriented information for individuals, families and communities.

YOUTH COUNSELING - challenged children and youth, including court-involved, delinquent and school drop-outs;

ADULT COUNSELING - includes individual, premarital and marriage; personal growth and development. (Click “Counseling Packages” on Menu).
